OKAY!!
Nincompoopery of all nincompoops – Personnel Departments suck and I still have not started ask me why and I shall do that nasty snarling thing and you WILL get your head bitten off consider this ample warning. So what to do with a week off (hummmm) well Friday I saw a play – the Coram Boy at the National not my favourite play this year (check out the review if you care). Saturday - Tuesday went down to Dorset to burn logs in the fire and do sweet doody which was exhausting. Tuesday went to see the Brothers Grimm the new Terry Gilliam film trust me it was grim don’t do it or don’t say you were not warned. Wednesday spent the whole day at the Cinema started with Howls Moving Castle the new film by Hayao Miyazaki which I really liked but is not as good as Spirited Away, then saw Pride and Prejudice again (Matthew Macfadyen bloody gorgeous). Then I went up to town and saw the sugar cube exhibit in the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern (Scott you would love it). Then off to dinner with Laura and Jake for a thoroughly good gossip at Gabriel’s Wharf. Thursday – went and tried to get all my Christmas shopping done in Richmond, a little early I hear you say but god knows when I am going to get it done otherwise. In the evening went to see the revival tour of the History Boys the newest Alan Bennett before it wanders off to Broadway I do love that play saw it first 18 months ago and it was brilliant, they have made it into a film which comes out next year Yeah!!! Friday – paperwork sorry dull I know but I fell over my in-tray the other day it was so full and apparently you have to pay bills or people get a teeny bit upset. Tonight am off to see a play at the Orange Tree I am not even sure what it is called (sigh). Then tomorrow (Saturday) I venture forth for a lovely day in the company of Miranda who has hinted at exhibitions to the British Museum (Persians), shopping on Upper Street and a peek at her new house in Islington all being on the itinerary which is very exciting. I have to say this new job which (finger-crossed) starts on Monday will be a bloody relief.

I Got It
As some of you know I went away for a lovely three week holiday unemployed. Some people have since told me that I am crazy not to worry about finding a new job. For those of you worried let me tell you I went for a job interview on Monday and heard on Tuesday that I got it so there. I am now PA to Head of Psychology and Departmental Secretary! It sounds fancy shmancy I know but is more money and a shorter compute so I say yeah! For those interested I will now be based at St Peters Hospital and if anyone wants to come and take me out for lunch I won't shun you.
